The Count of Monte Cristo
I decided that I wanted to read some good books this year. A couple of weeks ago, I was with my dad at Barnes and Noble, and I picked up a copy of The Count of Monte Cristo. It was mostly an impulse buy. I wanted something to read, and I remembered liking the movie. (Yes, I know there are better ways to pick books.) It’s turned out to be an excellent choice. Apparently a well-written adventure story with interesting characters is not an impossible feat, after all.

Yay a post!!
Yay!
When I think of the Count of Monte Cristo I think of Gerard Depardieu and then I think of France and so I think Monte Cristo is in France or something. Is it even a place?
*sigh, silly MIT has kept me from knowing normal things. Like how to bowl…….you should have seen me on Friday, it was so embarassing.
Hopefully I can read that book sometime and we can talk about it!

Doesn’t Monte Cristo have something to do with breakfast?
Wouldn’t an email list with recommendations of books come in handy!!! *sigh*
Anyway, enjoy the reading
